If
To be in the moment all alone
To listen as language bang off the walls
Quietly by yourself but in a room
Full of life your soul and heart with life
If, you can work and keep the needed touch
If you can dream- and not make dreams your master:
If you can think- and not make thought your aim:
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue
If you can exercise and make it Perfect
Or walk with Kings and Queens-nor lose the common touch
Yours is the earth and everything that’s in it,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute,
If you can apply all this and communicate everything in the world that you want it will and can be yours
